(CNN) — As Democrats wrestled with whether to count Michigan’s and Florida’s primary votes, the party’s two presidential candidates continued to scrap for delegates on Thursday.
Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are battling for every national delegate, a fight that extends to at least the Pennsylvania primary on April 22 after Clinton’s comeback victories in Ohio and Texas Tuesday.
Obama currently leads Clinton 1,520 to 1,424, CNN estimates.
The closeness of the delegate race has put the controversy over how the Democratic party handles the Michigan and Florida delegations back in the spotlight.
